A Shape Is Never Done, Installation, 2025
Photography by Nikola LamburovA Shape Is Never Done is an installation where light, shadow, and the moving body reflect an ongoing process of self-discovery. Activated through live performance, the body acts as both subject and witness to this open form.
The work, which premiered at De Ateliers in Amsterdam on 13 February 2025, was created during the Werkplaats Typografie program and developed in close collaboration with artist and performer Joana Cunha Pinto.
Choreography, artistic direction, set design, and sound composition by Rita Palha Lopes. Sound mastering by composer Nuno Lobo.
