brings together the individual work of Year 2025 & 2026 participants at the Werkplaats Typografie master’s program.
The concept is based on Action and Reaction. Existing work is exhibited alongside newly developed work, the latter being a response to the former: Participant A reacts to the project made by Participant B. The Show becomes a circuit of gestures that reflect This Year together. Visitors can choose to be guided through the system, which links each Action to its Reaction, or explore their own path through a choreography of interlinked projects.
The Show extended beyond static display, unfolding across a 3-day programme. This was The End for some, The Year for others, and The Show for all.
This project was curated, artistically directed, and organized collaboratively by Rita Palha Lopes, alongside Xiaohan Zhang, Tato Greve, and Camille Caspersen, who also participated in the exhibition.
