Minor Injuries is an ongoing research project exploring the paradox of luxury and social disparity through the visual language of car crashes. The work examines moments where destruction occurs without serious injury, reflecting on how damage is perceived and valued differently across social contexts.
The project began through experiments with materials, resulting in a poster as its first outcome. It later extended into an editorial format, assembling a collection of images of car accidents. Through their repetition, the work highlights how spectacle and detachment coexist in contemporary culture. Its metallic cover follows the visual language of the poster, linking both works within the same body of research. In collaboration with Pedro Lobo.
